Job Description

Role: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Experience Preferred: 5-7 Years

Location: Kalyani Nagar, Pune

Design, develop, and implement database objects (tables, views, indexes, synonyms) and PL/SQL components (procedures, functions, packages, triggers).
Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
Analyze existing PL/SQL code for improvements, performance tuning, and scalability.
Work closely with application developers to integrate PL/SQL code with front-end applications.
Debug, test, and document database code to ensure quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform database performance monitoring and tuning to ensure system efficiency.
Manage database security, backup, and recovery strategies in coordination with the DBA team.
Support production systems by troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
Maintain version control and follow coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years
of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
Strong knowledge of
SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database architecture
.
Experience with
performance tuning
and query optimization techniques.
Ability to work with large datasets and complex business logic.
Familiarity with tools such as
SQL*Plus, TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer
.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
