Oracle PL/SQL Developer

As a PL/SQL Developer, your main role will be to design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions to meet business requirements efficiently. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing PL/SQL scripts, ensuring database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration. Your problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge of relational database concepts will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for data processing and ETL tasks. - Design and implement database schemas and objects including tables, indexes, and views. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using PL/SQL. - Optimize SQL queries and database performance to ensure high efficiency. - Perform data analysis to support report generation and modify existing reports as required. - Develop migration scripts for data transfer between systems. - Ensure compliance with security standards to protect sensitive data. - Provide technical support for production systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Document technical specifications and create reusable code for scalability. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, with experience in developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers. - Strong understanding of relational database concepts (RDBMS) and performance tuning techniques. - Experience with ETL processes and data warehouse integration. - Knowledge of advanced PL/SQL features such as collections, ref cursors, dynamic SQL, and materialized views. - Familiarity with tools like SQL Developer, Toad, or similar IDEs. - Exposure to Unix/Linux scripting is a plus. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members. - Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in coding and testing. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 4+ years of proven experience in Oracle PL/SQL development. - Certifications in Oracle Database technologies are a plus.
