Profile - Oracle DBA Exp -6+ Years Location - Hyderabad Notice Period - Immediate to 15 Days Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Oracle DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, Oracle Data Guard , performance tuning, advanced backup and recovery , and Oracle 19c migration. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our critical database systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Near DR (NDR) and DC DR solutions. Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard (Physical and Logical Standby). Perform switchovers and failovers between primary and standby databases. Implement and manage Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) and RMAN backups . Apply Oracle patches , including PSU and one-off patches in production and non-prod environments. Manage Oracle Database Vault and TDE encryption for database security. Understand and troubleshoot AWR reports , fixing SQL plan issues and query tuning . Create and manage partitioned tables and Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) environments. Handle export/import operations using EXPDP/IMPDP utilities. Install, configure, and manage Oracle databases including Oracle 19c migration . Troubleshoot database slowness , long-running queries , and block corruption issues. Add data files and manage tablespaces based on storage requirements. Maintain sync/async replication and perform health checks for DR environments. Evaluate and implement Oracle architectural changes and enhancements. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database versions 12c/18c/19c . Proficient in Data Guard configuration , switchover/switchback, and disaster recovery practices. In-depth knowledge of Oracle architecture , ASM, and database security. Expertise in query tuning , Oracle plan management , and AWR/ASH analysis . Experience with Oracle Data Pump , RMAN , and block corruption recovery . Sound understanding of physical vs. logical standby databases. Knowledge of Oracle Vault , encryption standards , and compliance practices. Experience with database upgrades and migrations , especially to Oracle 19c . Ability to troubleshoot performance and availability issues under pressure. Show more Show less
