About the Role

As a System Engineer – Professional I, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, engineering, monitoring, and supporting infrastructure and application platforms that enable secure and reliable financial transactions in a highly regulated environment. You will contribute to the sustainment and evolution of production environments, drive automation, and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technology plans focused on project delivery, production environment sustainment, and team development.

• Lead engineering initiatives to improve system availability and manage hardware/software lifecycle activities.

• Build and maintain direct relationships with infrastructure and business leaders across the enterprise to align on shared goals.

• Participate in the selection and implementation of next-generation technologies and strategies.

• Architect and support complex infrastructure designs across large-scale data centers handling mission-critical, high-volume transactions.

• Conduct research and development throughout the project lifecycle, including technical analysis, design, and operational support.

• Lead infrastructure and application engineering teams in planning, designing, implementing, and supporting systems including servers, software, load balancers, and HSM appliances.

Required Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in DB technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and Proven expertise as DBA.

Strong knowledge of database architecture and administration

Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions

Familiarity with performance monitoring tools.

Proven experience in hardware and operating system troubleshooting.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Experience (3–5 Years Minimum in Each Area)

• Designing and maintaining server build configurations for WebLogic servers.

• Performing system patching, hardening, and managing automated deployments.

• Analyzing and resolving incidents and problems in hosted infrastructure and applications.

• Overseeing daily operations of hosted environments and ensuring service continuity.

• Administering and enforcing operational plans, policies, and procedures.
