Role Summary

Oracle Business Intelligence & Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and support

  Oracle Database (19c, 21c, 23ai)

  and

  Microsoft SQL Server

• Perform Oracle database migrations

  , upgrades, patching, and backup & recovery (RMAN, full & incomplete recovery)
• Design, develop, and optimize

  PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages

• Work on Oracle DBA activities

  including user management, roles, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Develop and support

  BI solutions

  using:
• Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE – 12c, 19c)
• Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
• Microsoft Power BI
• Design and manage

  ETL and data integration workflows

  using:
• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Lead or support

  migration projects

  , including:
• Oracle Database migrations across environments
• OBIEE to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) migration
• Ensure

  data quality, integrity, and performance

  across reporting and analytics platforms
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable reporting solutions

Required Technical Skills

Oracle Technologies

• Oracle Database Administration (Installation, Migration, Upgrade, Support)
• Strong hands-on

  PL/SQL

  (procedures, functions, triggers)
• Data modeling concepts and SQL optimization
• Backup & recovery using RMAN and import/export utilities

Business Intelligence & ETL

• Oracle BI EE (OBIEE) & Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Microsoft Power BI
• SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

Microsoft & Cloud

• Microsoft SQL Server (on-prem & Azure)
• MS SQL Managed Instance (Azure)

• Familiarity with Azure-based runtime environments

Must-Have Experience

• Minimum

  3+ years of hands-on project experience

• Proven experience in installation, migration, and production support

• Strong understanding of joins, procedures vs functions, triggers, and ETL concepts

• Experience handling complex PL/SQL logic

  in real-world projects
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize enterprise-scale data systems
