Role Description This is a full-time onsite role for an Operation Head-Jewellery located in Madurai. The Operation Head-Jewellery will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing teams, handling communication, and budgeting for the operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations across multiple jewellery showrooms and manufacturing units. Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across branches. Coordinate with the production, logistics, sales, and inventory teams for smooth workflow. Monitor stock levels, procurement, replenishment, and loss prevention systems. Ensure timely fulfilment of orders, customer service excellence, and showroom readiness. Supervise branch performance, audit processes, and staff productivity. Collaborate with HR for staff training, recruitment, and performance tracking. Generate MIS reports, operational dashboards, and business insights for top management. Lead and implement cost-control strategies, process improvements, and automation initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Retail, or related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in jewellery operations or retail chain management. Strong knowledge of jewellery product lifecycle, retail sales, and back-end operations. Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS software, and Excel/MIS. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel to different branch locations as required.
