Our mission is to enhance solar plant efficiency through intelligent robotic solutions that reduce water usage, minimize manual labor, and ensure sustained power output. We deploy autonomous robots across solar farms in India and monitor their performance using centralized SCADA systems. Role Summary We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Head to manage our field operations. This individual will oversee a team of engineers and technicians deployed across multiple sites, ensure optimal robotic performance through centralized SCADA monitoring, and implement robust failure management practices using SOPs and training videos. Key Responsibilities · Lead the O&M team of engineers and field technicians to ensure smooth operation of robotic cleaners at client sites. · Monitor all deployed robots using a centralized SCADA system to identify faults, stoppages, or sub-optimal performance. · Diagnose operational failures remotely and coordinate timely intervention on-ground through SOPs and escalation protocols. · Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and step-by-step work instructions. · Create and maintain training videos and documentation for repeatable tasks and troubleshooting. · Coordinate with the hardware and software teams to implement long-term fixes for recurring issues. · Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed rigorously across all deployments. · Continuously train and upskill field staff to improve uptime and efficiency. · Maintain records of incidents, failures, interventions, and improvements across sites. · Report performance metrics and insights to senior management weekly/monthly. Required Skills · Strong leadership and team management experience in field service or O&M roles. · Knowledge of SCADA systems and remote equipment monitoring tools. · Experience in diagnosing mechanical/electrical faults in automation or robotics systems. · Excellent documentation and process implementation skills (SOPs, checklists, reports). · Ability to coordinate large-scale service activities across multiple locations. · Working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and digital tools for reporting and tracking. · Good communication skills in English and Hindi to interface with field teams and clients. Qualifications Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in operations or maintenance roles, preferably in robotics, automation, or solar sectors.
