Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and effectively to inbound leads generated through various marketing channels (website inquiries, webinar attendees, content downloads, etc.).
  • Qualify leads to understand their needs, motivations, and suitability for our online education programs/services.
  • Nurture relationships with prospective students/clients, providing them with relevant information and support throughout their buyer's journey.
  • Conduct compelling virtual consultations and demonstrations of our online offerings, clearly articulating their value and benefits in response to expressed interest.
  • Guide interested prospects through the sales funnel, from initial inquiry to enrollment/purchase, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, lead status, and client interactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness, helping to refine our inbound strategies.
  • Stay current with trends and developments in the online education industry to effectively address prospect questions and position our offerings.

Preferred candidate profile

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience specifically within the online education or EdTech industry, with a strong focus on managing inbound leads.
  • Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in an inbound or consultative sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospective clients virtually.
  • Strong ability to understand and address client needs, providing tailored solutions and guidance.
  • Experience in efficiently managing a pipeline of inbound leads and utilizing CRM software effectively.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
  • A genuine passion for education and a belief in the value of online learning.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple conversations effectively.
