Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports:
Generate structured and timely sales reports for internal stakeholders to monitor business performance and aid decision-making.
Maintain and update sales dashboards and MIS databases:
Regularly update and manage dashboards to ensure real-time visibility of key sales metrics and data integrity across systems.
Analyze sales data to track performance vs. targets:
Conduct in-depth analysis of sales figures to assess progress against set targets and identify performance gaps.
Identify sales trends and flag deviations to management:
Monitor historical and current sales data to detect patterns or anomalies and escalate significant deviations to the leadership team.
Support sales forecasting and planning activities:
Assist in projecting future sales based on historical trends, market insights, and input from the sales team.
Coordinate with the sales team for data collection and validation:
Work closely with regional or field sales staff to gather accurate data and validate information for reporting accuracy.
Generate ad-hoc reports and presentations for business reviews:
Prepare customized reports and data-driven presentations for monthly reviews, leadership meetings, and strategic discussions.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of sales data across systems:
Cross-check data across CRM, ERP, and reporting tools to maintain consistency and prevent discrepancies in reporting.
Assist in automating and improving reporting processes:
Identify opportunities to streamline report generation using automation tools and support implementation of reporting efficiencies.
Coordinate with Finance for sales data, billing, and reconciliation:
Partner with the finance team to ensure alignment of sales numbers, accurate billing, and timely reconciliation of accounts.
Liaise with Supply Chain for inventory and order fulfillment updates:
Communicate with supply chain teams to track product availability, delivery timelines, and ensure smooth order processing.
Work with Marketing on promotions and campaign performance tracking:
Collaborate with the marketing team to evaluate the impact of campaigns on sales and support the planning of future promotions.
Interface with IT for system support and data integration:
Work with IT teams to resolve system errors, enhance reporting infrastructure, and integrate data from multiple platforms.
