Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Manager at Balancing Act. The Office Manager will be responsible for administrative assistance, managing office equipment, providing excellent customer service, and overseeing office administration tasks. As our Office Manager, you'll be the backbone of our daily operations and a key contributor to our positive and productive company culture. This multifaceted role encompasses general HR responsibilities, the exciting task of championing office happiness and employee well-being, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our vibrant office space. What You'll Be Doing: Nurturing Our Team (General HR): Support our growth by assisting with recruitment processes, from crafting engaging job posts to scheduling interviews and ensuring a welcoming onboarding experience for new team members. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures. Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a helpful point of contact for employee inquiries. Cultivating a Great Place to Work (Office Happiness and Employee Well-being): Develop and implement creative initiatives that foster a positive, collaborative, and engaging workplace culture. Organize fun and meaningful team-building activities and social events that strengthen our bonds. Be a go-to person for employee feedback and concerns, providing support and resources to ensure everyone feels valued and heard. Ensuring Smooth Operations (General Office Administration): Manage office supplies and equipment efficiently, ensuring we always have what we need to create magic. Coordinate office maintenance and repairs to keep our workspace comfortable and functional. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence professionally and efficiently. Provide support for travel arrangements and the processing of expense reports. Assist the management team with various administrative tasks to keep things running seamlessly. What You'll Bring to the Table: Proven experience in office management or a similar role where you've demonstrated your organizational prowess. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills – you're a master of keeping things on track. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you build rapport effortlessly and communicate clearly. The ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Mac proficiency is a plus!). A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude – you see challenges as opportunities.
