Position Overview

Odoo Accountant


Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management (Odoo)

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple companies in Odoo.
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and post customer invoices, vendor bills, payments, credit notes, and intercompany transactions.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Aged Reports).
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities for each company.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.


Sales & Administrative Support

  • Create and maintain quotations, sales orders, delivery orders, and customer details in Odoo.
  • Assist sales teams by ensuring complete and accurate documentation from quotation through invoicing.
  • Coordinate workflow between sales, operations, and accounting for seamless transaction processing.

Inventory & Operational Administration

  • Maintain accurate product, stock, and inventory records across companies.
  • Monitor stock movements, adjustments, and warehouse operations in Odoo.
  • Support periodic stock counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Assist in procurement-related workflows where necessary.

Odoo System & Data Management

  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data across Odoo modules.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide user support for accounting and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize workflows and improve system efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or Odoo Accounting Specialist.
  • Hands-on experience working within a

    multi-company Odoo setup

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in Odoo modules:

    Accounting, Sales, Inventory

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Odoo functional training or certification.
  • Experience in digital services, technology companies, or multi-entity business structures.
  • Familiarity with intercompany transactions and consolidated reporting.
