Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs that power high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services & RESTful APIs using Node.js

Build scalable and secure cloud-native applications on AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, DynamoDB)

Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability

Implement microservices and event-driven architectures

Integrate third-party services, databases, and internal systems

Apply security best practices including authentication, authorization, and data protection

Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality standards

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–8 years of backend development experience

Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript

Experience with Express.js and/or NestJS

Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM)

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems

Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have

Experience with GraphQL

Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes

Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS

Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai)

Exposure to monitoring & logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Datadog)
