Role Overview

Correspondent

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit original news stories, interviews, and features related to the logistics, supply chain, freight, shipping, and related sectors.
• Attend industry conferences, expos, and press briefings to provide event coverage, gather quotes, and develop story leads.
• Conduct interviews with key industry stakeholders and executives.
• Coordinate with the editorial and digital teams for content planning and publishing.
• Monitor market trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies within the logistics space.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality content for both web and print platforms.
• Uphold journalistic integrity and factual accuracy in all published work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business reporting or sector-focused journalism (preferably in logistics, infrastructure, or related industries).
• Strong reporting, writing, and editing skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for events and assignments as needed.
• Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of B2B media and industry reporting.
• Exposure to logistics or industrial reporting beats.
• Proficiency in using multimedia tools.
