Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Palghar for a New Product Development Specialist. The New Product Development Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing new products, conducting research and development (R&D) activities, and improving existing product designs. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating technical details, and ensuring that new products meet quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new copper and copper alloy tubular products tailored for heat transfer and thermal systems.
• Conduct R&D activities to evaluate new materials, processes, and design enhancements.
• Develop engineering drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and sales to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
• Improve performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability of existing products through continuous iteration and testing.
• Execute prototype development, oversee functional testing, and integrate feedback into product improvements.
• Support product validation through thermal performance testing, pressure testing, and metallurgical analysis.
• Maintain clear and complete documentation for all stages of product development, including version control and technical reporting.
• Communicate technical insights and progress updates effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in product design, R&D, and thermal systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools and basic engineering simulations.
• Strong understanding of copper materials, alloy behavior, and manufacturing processes (e.g., extrusion, forming, brazing, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work on-site at the Palghar facility.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing or metals industry is a strong advantage.
