Network Security Engineer

Location: Pan India

Must have: Network Security-Proxy, RSA, Firewall added advantage

1. Responsible for managing and maintaining Secure Web Gateways and proxy solutions such as Blue Coat, Zscaler, or similar, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

2. Conduct regular health checks of web security infrastructure and proactively address potential issues to maintain security posture.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to proxy, email security, and MFA platforms; work closely with vendors to ensure timely support and updates.

4. Plan and execute version upgrades of cybersecurity tools, ensuring thorough testing and smooth rollouts to avoid disruption.

5. Implement and manage URL filtering policies, including whitelisting and blacklisting, to protect users from malicious websites while maintaining access to essential resources.

6. Optimize web filtering policies to strike a balance between usability and security.

7. Manage multi-factor authentication platforms, handling tasks such as token issuance, revocation, and device resynchronization to support secure user access.

8.Use tools like ServiceNow to track and manage incident tickets, ensuring resolution within defined SLAs and escalating complex cases when necessary.

9. Review firewall rule requests from a cybersecurity and risk perspective to ensure they align with organizational standards and security policies.

10. Support internal audits and regulatory compliance efforts by providing required documentation and evidence of controls.

11. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of configurations, incidents, changes, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and operational transparency.

12. Perform user account reconciliation periodically to ensure identity and access controls are accurate and up to date.

13. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align security operations with broader organizational goals.

14. Provide training and knowledge sharing to team members to build overall team capability and strengthen cybersecurity posture.
