Job Description

Roles & Responsibility.

Deep knowledge in areas of TCP/IP, routing protocols, DNS, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network security concepts
Experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining IDS/IPS systems in various environments
Proficiency with Snort and/or Suricata
Ability to develop, update, and fine-tune Snort and Suricata rules to ensure optimal threat detection and minimize false positives.
Expertise in monitoring network traffic, analyzing security alerts, and performing deep packet inspection (DPI) to identify patterns of malicious activity.
Knowledge of integrating IDS/IPS tools with other security tools like Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms for comprehensive logging and analysis
Hands on experience with design and/or operation of Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW) from vendors like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, etc
Strong programming experience with C/C++ or Golang
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash
