Role Overview

Escalent is on the lookout for a talented Network Security Engineer to join our innovative IT team. If you have a deep expertise in managing and securing complex network infrastructures, this role is perfect for you. You'll be building with cutting-edge networking technologies, dynamic routing protocols, and detailed firewall rules, while playing a crucial role in our security operations. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage sophisticated network security solutions across both cloud and on-premises environments.
Configure and maintain advanced firewalls, switches, access points, and cloud networks.
Oversee dynamic routing protocols within our complex VPN mesh networks.
Enhance the resilience and security of our interconnected services.
Vigilantly monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential threats.
Develop and enforce comprehensive network security policies and procedures.
Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
Audit existing firewall and security configurations to align with best practices.
Stay at the forefront of the latest network security trends and technologies.
Collaborate closely with the security team to bolster SIEM through log aggregation and incident response.
Support IAM with the seamless configuration of SSO implementations using SAML, OAuth, and OIDC, and maintain robust Identity Security Policies.
Drive the implementation of ZTNA through innovative micro-segmentation and private user access strategies.
Review and remediate vulnerabilities as part of our Vulnerability Management Program
Partner with MSSP to manage and enhance EDR deployment and response.
Strengthen Email Security products and ensure the secure transmission of emails within our environment.
Optimize least privilege and Privilege Access Management systems, integrating them with network technologies to ensure secure access.

Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as Network+, Cisco CCNA or CCNP, or Fortinet certifications.
5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
Strong expertise in complex networks, dynamic routing protocols, and advanced network security operations.
Experience with Fortiauthenticator and FortiAnalyzer is a plus.
Familiarity with any of the following: SIEM, IAM, EDR, Email Security, and Privilege Access Management solutions is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
