Network Security Engineer

• Provide hands-on expertise in the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of multi-OEM Firewall, Switching, and Routing technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Manage and optimize LAN, WAN, WLAN (Aruba, Cisco, Meraki), MPLS, and DMVPN solutions.
• Ensure the smooth operation and high availability of network and security services.
• Discover, design, execute, validate, and peer review complex change implementations related to data center IT network routing, switching, and security technologies in adherence to organizational standards.
• Implement end-to-end connectivity solutions between remote offices, cloud platforms, and data centers based on business unit requirements.
• Design and implement multi-cloud network architectures, with a focus on AWS or other public cloud providers.
• Deploy and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions, ensuring optimal application performance and secure connectivity.
• Administer and troubleshoot various firewall platforms including Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and NSX Firewall.
• Configure and manage IPsec VPNs, AnyConnect, Global Protect, Cisco ISE, Cisco ACS, and ZScaler.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and procedural documentation.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in Routing and Switching (OSPF, BGP).
• Extensive experience with Cisco Nexus Switches (5000, 7000, 9000 series).
• Solid understanding and practical experience with MPLS and DMVPN.
• Exposure to other enterprise networking platforms like Brocade, Arista, Juniper, Dell Data Centre switches is a plus.
• Hands-on expertise with leading firewalls: Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, NSX Firewall.
• Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions like Cisco ISE and Cisco ACS.
• Proficiency in IPsec VPN, AnyConnect, Global Protect VPN clients.
• Knowledge of ZScaler or other secure web gateway solutions.
• Experience with Aruba Wireless Controllers, Cisco Wireless (WLCs, APs), Cisco Prime, and Meraki.
• Integration of wireless networks with security solutions like Cisco ISE.
• Demonstrable experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela or Meraki).
• Expertise in multi-cloud network design and implementation, specifically with AWS networking components (VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, etc.) or other major cloud providers.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
