Network Security Engineer

As a Network Security Engineer in Pune on a Contract to Hire basis, your role will involve: - Advanced experience with Checkpoint including MDS, SmartConsole, SmartDashboard, policy management, VPNs, threat prevention, and clustering (HA). - Expertise in Cisco ASA firewall policies, NAT, ACLs, VPN tunnels (IPSec/SSL), and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in Zscaler setup including ZIA and ZPA, policy configuration, troubleshooting Zscaler Client Connector, and integration with IdPs. - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and layer 2/3/7 firewall concepts. - Experience with security monitoring, logging, and SIEM integration such as Splunk, QRadar. - Knowledge of scripting or automation tools like Python, Ansible is a plus. Preferred Certifications: - Check Point CCSE - Cisco CCIE Security - Zscaler Certified Professional (ZCP / ZIA / ZPA) - Additional certifications like CISSP, CEH, GIAC are advantageous.
