Network Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee network administration activities and ensure 99% network uptime across locations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional MES and IT teams to enhance network performance and service delivery.
• Manage hardware resource allocation and provide oversight on network-related projects.
• Develop and track metrics for monitoring network performance, infrastructure health, and service efficiency.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus tools, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and escalation support for complex network issues.
• Ensure adherence to service level agreements, documentation standards, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to optimize network performance and resolve service issues.
• Conduct periodic network assessments to identify improvement opportunities and optimize infrastructure.

Experience Required:

• 10 - 14 years of experience in network administration and support roles.
• Strong expertise in managing enterprise network environments, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting network performance issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience implementing security best practices across network infrastructure.
• Ability to lead network-related projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation, communication, and vendor management skills.
