Job Description

Core responsibilities Design and Implementation: Design and install new network systems, including wireless networks, and plan for future network development. Maintenance and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software, and perform necessary upgrades and patches. Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and stability to ensure maximum uptime and identify areas for improvement. Security: Implement and manage network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security systems, to protect data and software. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network and system issues, including hardware failures and connectivity problems. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures. Technical Support: Provide technical support to users and collaborate with other IT professionals and third-party vendors. Required skills and qualifications Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of network infrastructure, hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points), and protocols. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with users, management, and vendors. Certifications: Certifications like CompTIA Network+ are often preferred. Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is typically required.
