Network Engineer

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design & Implementation:

  Design and deploy new network solutions and optimize existing ones to meet the organizations needs. Ensure that network infrastructure is aligned with business goals and technical requirements.

• Network Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  Monitor and maintain network performance to ensure high availability. Proactively identify and resolve any network issues or outages.

• Security Management:

  Implement network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). Ensure that network devices and systems are compliant with company security policies and industry standards.

• Documentation:

  Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.

• Performance Monitoring:

  Use network monitoring tools to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in both hardware and software.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with system administrators, IT support teams, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient operation of the network.

• Support & Troubleshooting:

  Provide on-site and remote support for network-related issues. Assist in resolving user connectivity issues and ensuring the network meets organizational requirements.

• Upgrade & Improvement:

  Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Propose upgrades or enhancements to improve network performance, scalability, and security.
