Network Engineer (Cisco ACI – L2)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for

  Cisco ACI fabrics

  , including monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration changes.
• Assist in deploying and maintaining

  ACI leaf/spine architectures

  and APIC configurations.
• Configure and manage

  EPGs, bridge domains, contracts, and tenants

  within ACI.
• Perform

  L2/L3 network troubleshooting

  and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
• Support integration with

  L4/L7 services

  such as firewalls and load balancers.
• Work closely with senior engineers for

  change implementation, migration, and capacity planning

  .
• Maintain

  network documentation

  , configuration backups, and change records.
• Support

  automation and scripting initiatives

  for network operations.
• Ensure network uptime, performance, and adherence to security and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  of experience in enterprise networking and data center operations.
• Strong understanding of

  Cisco ACI concepts

  (EPGs, bridge domains, contracts, tenants, policies).
• Proficiency in

  Cisco Nexus platforms (9K/7K)

  and core switching/routing protocols (VLAN, STP, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with

  ACI troubleshooting tools

  and APIC GUI/CLI.
• Familiarity with

  VXLAN, EVPN, and overlay/underlay networking

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  Python or Ansible

  for automation is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (

  CCNP

  ) or equivalent certification.
• Exposure to

  SDN, multi-site ACI, or hybrid cloud environments

  .
• Experience working in

  24x7 support

  or

  rotational shift operations

  .
