About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and innovative .NET Developer to join our dynamic Information Technology team at Luxoft. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical web applications and services that impact thousands of users monthly. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web services and applications within a fast-paced, Agile environment. The role requires a deep understanding of backend development using .NET technologies, particularly .NET Core, and experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including product managers, QA, and DevOps, to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex requirements into effective technical solutions, all while adhering to best practices in software development and SDLC processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on API programming and backend development.
- Extensive experience with .NET Core, including microservices architecture and middleware development.
- Strong understanding of web service protocols such as SOAP, REST, and Web API.
- Practical knowledge of AWS Cloud services and integration techniques.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing web services within Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to quickly grasp high-level concepts and effectively communicate them to team members and stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust web services and APIs using .NET Core, ensuring high performance and scalability.Implement microservices architecture, leveraging .NET Core middleware to create modular and reusable components.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver features aligned with business goals.Integrate applications with cloud services, particularly AWS, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Identify and troubleshoot issues proactively, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and impact.Maintain documentation of technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes and outcomes.Engage in code reviews and knowledge sharing to promote quality and consistency within the team.
