Job Title: .NET Developer – Manufacturing Domain

Location: [Chennai]

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

.NET Developer

with 3–5 years of experience in developing and supporting enterprise-level applications within the

manufacturing domain

. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

.NET technologies

, SQL Server, Web API development, and exposure to

manufacturing processes and systems (ERP/MES/SCADA)

. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that improve operational efficiency and support manufacturing business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC / C#.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between manufacturing applications.
Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to understand process requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Integrate applications with ERP, MES, or shop-floor control systems.
Work on Windows-based applications for machine data acquisition and production monitoring.
Write clean, scalable, and reusable code following coding best practices.
Work on SQL Server for data modeling, stored procedures, triggers, and query optimization.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for applications in the production environment.
Maintain technical documentation for developed applications and processes.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.

Required Skills

3–5 years of experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C#, and Entity Framework.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks (React/Angular is a plus).
Exposure to manufacturing domain systems such as MES, ERP, SCADA, or shop-floor applications.
Experience working with industrial data integration (OPC, Modbus, or similar) is an advantage.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools like Azure DevOps, Git, or JIRA.

Preferred Skills (Good To Have)

Knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure/.NET deployments).
Experience with Windows services, WPF, or WinForms applications.
Understanding of manufacturing data flows, production planning, and reporting tools (Power BI).
Exposure to Industrial IoT (IIoT) or smart factory initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
