Job Description

National Sales Leader – Water & Process Solutions (Pharma & Life Sciences)

Reporting to:


pharmaceutical & life sciences water treatment space

🔹 The Opportunity

Capital Projects (CapEx), Lifecycle Services (OpEx), and Process Solutions

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a

    national sales team (15–20 members)

    across regions and verticals
  • Own revenue growth across

    CapEx, OpEx, and Process businesses

    , with a strong focus on expanding the Process portfolio
  • Drive

    large-ticket deals

    (₹10–20 crore) and overall business responsibility of ₹100–200 crore+
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for

    tier 1, 2 & 3 pharma clusters

  • Strengthen consultative, solution-led selling and long-term customer partnerships
  • Institutionalize

    sales governance, pipeline discipline, and review mechanisms

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and contribute to enterprise strategy
  • Support export business growth while maintaining strong domestic market leadership
  • Champion

    digital-first selling and technology-enabled customer engagement

🔹 What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables)

  • Strong track record in

    capital equipment / project sales

    , preferably in

    pharma, biotech, life sciences, or allied industries

  • Deep

    industry network

    and credibility with senior decision-makers
  • Experience scaling sales organizations and driving

    step-change growth

  • Proven exposure to

    large deal closures and national-level sales leadership

  • Structured sales leader with hands-on experience in

    pipeline management and governance

  • Growth-oriented, optimistic leader who can drive change while respecting strong cultural values
  • Willingness to be based in

    Mumbai or a major metro

    , with extensive travel
