Job Description

About the Role:

Ad Sales – Digital


Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Strategy Development

  • Define and execute comprehensive revenue strategies across ad sales, branded content, and partnerships on ZEE5.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and content teams to design monetizable solutions.
  • Identify, test, and scale new revenue streams to future-proof the business model.
  • % Penetration of OTT in existing TV accounts above a minimal revenue / adv.
  • Partner with internal Zee team such as digital platforms, content, finance, and revenue to develop unique solutions for new client acquisition.
  • Deep networking with agencies to help build revenue as well as to get additional clients on board YOY.

Ad Sales

  • Develop and pitch innovative advertising products such as video ads, programmatic offerings, and native content integrations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers and media agencies to drive premium ad deals.
  • Optimize digital ad inventory to ensure maximum yield and superior campaign delivery.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Use performance analytics to evaluate campaign results and overall ad revenue trends.
  • Leverage user behaviour, audience insights, and platform data to refine sales strategy.
  • Continuously experiment and optimize channels to improve ROI.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing revenue team.
  • Set clear KPIs, manage performance, and in-still a results-driven, collaborative culture.
  • Foster innovation and upskilling within the team.


Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:

  • Deep understanding of digital ad products and digital sales (video, programmatic, branded content).
  • Master’s degree in business or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with performance data and dashboards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 17+ years of experience in Sales and minimum 9+ years in Digital space.
