House of Shipping provides business consultancy and advisory services for Shipping & Logistics companies.House of Shipping's commitment to their customers begins with developing an understanding of their business fundamentals.We are hiring on behalf of one of our key US based client a globally recognized service provider of flexible and scalable outsourced warehousing solutions, designed to adapt to the evolving demands of todays supply chains.We are hiring for a globally recognized U.based service provider that delivers warehousing solutions designed to meet the dynamic needs of todays supply chains.Position : MuleSoft Developer.We are seeking a Principal MuleSoft Developer & B2B Consultant to lead and deliver complex integration projects between Our Client OMS/WMS and external partner/customer systems.This is a hands-on consulting and development role, responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, API & EDI mapping, and development.The ideal candidate will combine consulting skills, design expertise, and deep MuleSoft development experience, with a strong background in supply chain, e-commerce, and B2B integrations.
Consulting & Solution Design
You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define integration strategies, design optimal solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable :
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand integration needs, workflows, and partner requirements.
- Translate business requirements into integration architecture and technical designs.
- Recommend best practices for API-led connectivity and B2B integration patterns.
Development & Mapping
- Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft APIs (System, Process, Experience layers) for OMS/WMS integrations.
- Perform complex mapping using DataWeave for JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI formats (850, 856, 810, 888, 840).
- Build and maintain EDI/API transformations between customer systems and Our Client OMS/WMS.
- Develop e-commerce integrations (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) and marketplace connections (Amazon, Walmart).
Platform & Deployment
- Deploy OMS integrations on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage.
- Implement and manage Apigee API Gateway proxies, security policies, authentication, and analytics.
- Integrate OMS/WMS with ERP, TMS, and carrier systems.
Quality & Governance
- Establish coding, mapping, and integration standards.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers on MuleSoft and mapping best practices.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of integration experience, with 5+ years on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
- Proven experience in consulting, designing, and developing supply chain and e-commerce integrations.
- Strong expertise in DataWeave mapping for multiple data formats (EDI, JSON, XML, CSV).
- Experience integrating OMS/WMS platforms (Manhattan preferred) with ERP, TMS, carrier systems, shopping carts, and marketplaces.
- Hands-on experience with Apigee API Gateway and GCP deployments.
- Proficiency in REST/SOAP API design, API security, and integration best practices.
- Deep understanding of B2B EDI standards (850, 856, 810, 888, 840).
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect Level 1.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 (Mule 4).
- Strong domain expertise in supply chain, logistics, and retail integrations.
- Experience in performance tuning and scaling high-volume integrations.
