About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Mule 4 integration flows, APIs, and connectors using Anypoint Platform.
• Build high-performance, reusable integrations using DataWeave 2.0, RAML, and API Manager.
• Develop custom Java components to extend Mule capabilities when required.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement API-led connectivity with proper governance, error handling, and logging frameworks.
• Deploy and manage Mule applications on CloudHub or on-prem runtimes.
• Collaborate with architects and business teams to translate requirements into robust API solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, integrations testing, and release cycles.
  

Required Experience (4 - 10 Years)

• Strong mandatory experience in Mulesoft Mule 4 (flows, subflows, event processors, error strategies).
• Mandatory Core Java experience - ability to write utilities, extensions, and custom connectors.
• Hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, API Designer, API Manager, Runtime Manager.
• Understanding of RAML specifications, API-led architecture, and reusable API fragments.
• Experience integrating with databases, REST/SOAP services, queues, and cloud applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Git, Maven, Jenkins) for Mule deployments.
• Experience with Mule 3 is an added advantage (migration exposure is a plus).
• Strong debugging skills, version control experience, and ability to work independently.
  

Good To Have

• Experience handling migration projects from Mule 3 to Mule 4.
• Exposure to cloud integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and security frameworks.
• Ability to mentor junior developers (for senior-level applicants).
