Job Description

Designation: CAE Engineer [CoE]

Reporting to: Lead Engineer Location: Bangalore,Qualification: B.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical/Automotive EngineeringExperience: 3-4 years

Position Overview

We are seeking outstanding engineer in FEA Analysis (preferably diverse product range] He / She should have strong modeling skills & is experienced in using simulation tools to solve complex engineering problems & prove the hypotheses. Corelate the actual application conditions into simulation models. Uses best practices & knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Works independently & able to guide others.

Key Responsibilities / Functions

  • Develop FE models to analyze the problems related to structural and flow domain by thoroughly translating application conditions.
  • Proactively validate / correlate results with real world data & makes model improvements as deemed necessary.
  • Interpret analysis results with respect to results obtained by lab testing procedures, converting these results into practical design suggestions.
  • Generates high quality engineering test reports & presents CAE results/conclusions to the design engineering community.
  • Support development of CAE [FEA] methods related to new technologies.

Required Qualifications: (Technical Skills/Knowledge)
  • Strong fundamentals of Structural mechanics, elastomers and polymers
  • Experience in analyzing water softeners is an advantage
  • Must have hands on experience in FEA modelling of industrial components, subsystems & systems with good knowledge in domains like Linear, Nonlinear & Dynamic analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Material, Geometry & Contact nonlinearity
  • Exposure to commercially available FEA analysis tool ANSYS (Workbench & Classic). APDL knowledge is desirable.
  • Knowledge of CAD Tools (SolidWorks) / space claim is a must.
  • Experienced in FE meshing.
  • Good English communication skill, both written & verbal
  • Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools namely Excel, Word & PowerPoint
