Job Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Fabric Specialist to design, implement, and optimize modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining analytics architectures, pipelines, and governance for scalable, secure, and high-performance business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement data lake houses, warehouses, real-time analytics, and enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Build, monitor, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines with Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows, and other Fabric components.
• Develop robust data models, semantic layers, and advanced reporting with Power BI, Spark SQL, SQL, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
• Integrate and secure data assets, enforce data governance policies using Microsoft Purview, and implement RBAC for compliance.
• Troubleshoot, fine-tune, and optimize workload performance across DirectQuery, Synapse, DAX, and SQL environments.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable end-to-end data solutions.
• Conduct training and enablement sessions for teams to drive Fabric adoption and best practices.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Pipelines, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows, Synapse, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL, Spark SQL, PySpark, Notebook, KQL, and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
• Experience with Azure cloud data services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data integration.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance (using Purview, RBAC).
• Advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft certifications related to Fabric, Power BI, or Azure analytics.
• Experience guiding organizations on Fabric adoption and migration from legacy platforms.
• Familiarity with SAP, ERP data sources, or other advanced analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in data engineering/architect roles with at least 2 years on Microsoft Fabric solutions.
