Roles and Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute production activities to meet customer requirements and company goals. Develop and maintain accurate material plans, ensuring timely delivery of materials to production lines. Conduct OEE calculations to optimize equipment performance and reduce waste. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement changes as needed. Heavy fabrication industries work experience Material Grade Knowledge Desired Candidate Profile 5-7 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) or related field. Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical or relevant discipline. Strong understanding of Material Planning, MRP Planning, BOM Preparation, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Heavy Fabrication, SAP PP Module, SAP S4HANA systems.

1 Inventory Management • Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock levels for raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and finished goods. • Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and proper storage as per material specifications. • Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with the ERP/Inventory Management System. • Report stock variances and investigate discrepancies. 2 Material Handling & Storage • Receive incoming materials — inspect quality, quantity, and condition as per purchase order and specifications. • Label, bin, and store materials systematically to avoid damage, deterioration, or misplacement. • Ensure proper stacking, safe handling, and easy retrieval of stock items. • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store area. 3 Issue & Dispatch • Issue materials to production and service teams against approved requisitions. • Prepare proper issue slips/challans for traceability. • Coordinate with the dispatch team for packing and delivery of finished goods. • Ensure timely handover of materials to transport/logistics partners. 4 Documentation & Reporting • Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), Issue Slips, Stock Registers, and other statutory records. • Update daily stock position and submit reports to the SCM Manager/Plant Head. • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual stock audits. • Maintain documentation for ISO/BIS or other statutory compliance if applicable. 5 Coordination & Communication • Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QA/QC, Accounts, and Logistics teams for smooth operations. • Follow up with suppliers for short supplies, excesses, or damage claims. • Ensure timely disposal or return of rejected/obsolete materials as per company policy. 6 Compliance & Safety • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and statutory requirements. • Follow EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines inside the store. • Maintain fire safety equipment, PPE usage, and housekeeping. 7 Other Duties • Support stock optimization initiatives — space utilization, cost control, and waste minimization. • Suggest process improvements for better inventory control. • Assist in implementation of ERP modules and digital stock tracking.

Responding to emergency requests and expediting orders as needed. Maintaining records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments. Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries. Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations. Qualifications:

Experience in handling new suppliers, inventory, managing shipments, reviewing vendors, supplier audits, MRP Order action, Push out, pull-ins and cancellation, Knowledge of MRP systems & commercial software, Handle global freight forwarders.

5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP. Knowledge of MRP processes, planning strategies, and master data. Experience in plant rollout activities fit-gap analysis and cutover planning. Good understanding of integration with MM & SD modules.

Production planning and Control (PPC) & Inventory Management Role & responsibilities KRAs and KPIs:- Prepare daily, weekly & monthly plans based on consent of all stakeholders. Participate in daily production meeting for discussion of production planning activities. Shortage analysis and coordinate with warehouse/Material control and production to ensure the smooth running of line. Components ordering through MRP module in SAP and inventory management. Provide machine wise and shift wise production orders to production and all relevant department. Ensure the completion of production orders of previous day. Prepare the plant performance reports like OTD, OTIF, Unplanned change over, Inventory aging report, loading efficiency etc. on daily/weekly/Monthly basis and circulation to all stakeholders. Compile the weekly performance data and present to management. Knowledge of SAP specially PP & MM module. Coordination of material delivery from stakeholders like import purchase/Domestic Purchase /Logistics for arrival of material. EOL ordering on time and ensure obsolescence % should be under define target after model EOL production. Checking of BOM, Updating the relevant changes in system as and when required. Ensure the MRP parameters are correct in Master data as per business and MRP is giving correct requirements. Coordinate with stakeholders like industrial engineering regarding capacity and ramp up and prepare the plans accordingly. Closely monitoring the delivery commitment and adherence the same.
