Moulding Manager

Position Title - Moulding Manager

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Ø Manage Production deliverables on time

· Analyze production plans (4 week and 6 week).

· Monitor range clubbing and changeovers.

· Review material request confirm schedules for manufacturing orders and ensure on time targets.

Ø Manage resource allocation & improve productivity

· Ensure Materials are available before next production runs both for in house and 3rd party.

· Ensure requests are raised on time based on weekly and monthly plans.

· Improve Manufacturing efficiency by adhering to regular maintenances, day-to-day preventive maintenances, reduce cycle time.

Ø Manage quality & reduce rework

· Monitor team to achieve First article approval and meet metrics consistently. Monitor the color variances and fitment parameters.

· Manage process capability by analyzing the process variability and process deviations / rejected and accepted under deviations.

· Do root cause analysis on the rejections and deviations report.

· Reduce customer complaints by analyzing the trend and reasons for deviations. Rework on components that can be accepted.

Ø Manage Installation and Maintenances (Mold & Machines)

· Ensure team makes Molds & Critical Spares available on time.

· Do root cause analysis on fitment issues / crack issues / product material analysis / modifications in the design of the mold to address customer complaints.

· Reduce downtime and do root cause analysis on breakdown issues to avoid failures. Stock machine accessories and spares. Track requests, approval and raise CAPEX and get supplies on time.

· Support new machine Installation and maintain relevant documents.

Ø Manage Cost reduction

· Reduce scrap and rework by improving quality of process and standards. Reduce idle hours, cycle time of production.

· Negotiate for best price for outsourced productions.

· Tooling and spares cost should be monitored to get the best deal.

· Increase Yield & observe material reconciliation. Improve Power conservation methods and reduce other utilities cost.

Ø Support New Product Development(NPD)

· Monitor calculation for labor required, machine run time, set up time and quality output. Update routing data; codes & Bill of materials (BOM) submit inputs to data management team.

· Brief suppliers on recommended changes and provide technical inputs on accurate shade/ color variants / materials.

· Private Label New mold development: Manage quotations Capex, Purchase Orders and document recommendations and approvals.

· Make Visits & Follow up with suppliers for mold sample and track approval.

Ø Process Improvements and Innovations

· Adhere to GMP compliances. Implement 5S, safety practices, monitor shop floor and machine cleanliness.

· Work on process variations and bring innovations that reduces non-conformities. Mentor team to work on the history of breakdown/ quality issues and bring improvements to address issues.

Ø People Development

· Encourage team to get cross trained on other functions of molding process, trainings on Skill improvements and tooling.

· Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide feedback to develop on areas of improvements.

· Ensure successful implementation of the Business Sustainability and Corporate Integrity (BSCI) framework within the scope of your respective function, encompassing all relevant policies, practices, and initiatives, to drive sustainable practices and uphold corporate integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
