About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Moodle Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain our Learning Management System (LMS) based on Moodle. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and front-end technologies, with prior experience in extending and integrating Moodle functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain Moodle LMS, including upgrades and patches.

2. Develop custom plugins, themes, and modules to extend Moodle functionality.

3. Customize user interface and experience to align with branding and user needs

4. Integrate Moodle with third-party applications (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, HR systems, video conferencing tools like Zoom/Teams).

5. Optimize Moodle performance, scalability, and security.

6. Manage user roles, permissions, and course structures.

7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Moodle setup, plugins, or performance.

8. Provide technical documentation and user support as needed.

9. Ensure adherence to industry best practices for e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI, LTI, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Moodle Developer ( 3 to 5 years).

2. Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.

3. Experience with Moodle plugin/theme development and customization.

4. Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI and e-learning standards.

5. Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

6. Experience in integrating Moodle with third-party applications.

7. Understanding of LMS security and performance optimization.

8. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

9. Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have:

1. Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).

2. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

3. Familiarity with other LMS frameworks (Open edX, Blackboard, Canvas).

4. Experience in instructional design or understanding of pedagogy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
