MIS Executive

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MIS Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the organization's information systems, ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of data. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, project management, and technical support to enhance operational efficiency.

Duties

• Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
• Oversee system administration tasks for Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, and Azure environments.
• Implement and manage IT service management processes using tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
• Ensure business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies are in place and regularly tested.
• Provide technical support for end-users, including desktop support and remote access software troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Agile project management initiatives.
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds; troubleshoot issues related to LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Conduct regular security assessments to ensure compliance with information security policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate IT procurement processes.
• Supervise IT staff, providing leadership and guidance in daily operations.

Skills

• Proficiency in AWS, VMware vSphere, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory, and Cisco routers.
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices for effective IT service management.
• Experience with SharePoint for collaboration and document management solutions.
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts including DHCP, firewall configurations, network security protocols, and network infrastructure design.
• Familiarity with Linux systems engineering is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
