Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports in Excel or ERP system (SAP / Tally / NetSuite / Zoho, etc.).
Monitor stock levels, stock-in-transit, and reconcile physical vs. system inventory.
Prepare MIS dashboards on inventory status, ageing, stock turnover ratio, and shortages/excesses.
Support demand forecasting and replenishment planning through data analysis.
Identify inventory discrepancies and coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for resolution.
Generate SKU-level reports for slow-moving, non-moving, and fast-moving items.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities for inventory accounting.
Track inward and outward movements, returns, and damaged stock reports.
