Hiring for one of the global insurer in Pune or Trivandrum location Experience - 8+ years Should have experience in developing merger and acquisition strategy. Job Role As a Lead Business Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to lead strategy, business, and transformation projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. You will oversee teams, provide expert guidance, and drive impactful outcomes. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing practice areas, mentoring junior consultants, and supporting business development efforts. Key Responsibilities Lead Consulting Engagements: Oversee and deliver high-impact consulting projects, including post-merger integration, transformations, and productivity excellence Ensure project objectives are met by aligning stakeholder expectations, managing timelines, and maintaining quality standards. Strategic Insights & Problem Solving: Analyze complex business challenges, generate actionable insights, and craft innovative solutions. Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases, and detailed recommendations for clients. Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted advisory relationships with senior client executives by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. Serve as the primary point of contact for project sponsors and key stakeholders. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and mentor consultants and junior team members, fostering professional growth and team development. Allocate resources, prioritize tasks, and ensure seamless collaboration across project workstreams. Business Development: Contribute to the growth of Allianz Consulting by preparing proposals, conducting market research, and identifying new business opportunities. Develop thought leadership content and represent the firm in client pitches and industry forums. Practice Development: Drive innovation by developing expertise in key areas such as transformation programs, M&A processes, and regulatory landscapes. Contribute to the growth and refinement of the practice's methodologies and tools. Key Requirements Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Professional Experience: 4-7 years of experience in management consulting or advisory roles, preferably with exposure to the insurance industry or post merger integration projects Demonstrated success in managing large transformation projects, post-merger integrations, or productivity improvement Experience in leading teams and managing client relationships at the executive level. Communication Skills: Internal Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and the capacity to create compelling business cases. Advanced proficiency in analytics tools and presentation software. Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset. Global Acumen: Experience working in international or cross-cultural environments. Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the insurance value chain, regulatory frameworks, and IT delivery processes.
