Merchandizer ( Jewellery Industry)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in the jewellery industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing merchandising strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with design, production, sales, and marketing teams to ensure the right product is available at the right time, place, and price.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Planning & Development:
• Collaborate with the design and product development teams to conceptualize jewellery collections aligned with market trends and brand identity.
• Assist in creating seasonal product line plans based on market demand and sales data.
• Coordinate sampling and ensure product quality meets brand standards.

Range Planning & Assortment:

• Develop and maintain merchandise assortments that reflect customer preferences and market trends.
• Recommend pricing strategies and product mix based on competitor analysis and market feedback.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production to ensure timely replenishment.
• Analyze sales data and inventory turnover to optimize product availability.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination:

• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Source new materials or vendors as needed.

Sales & Market Analysis:

• Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
• Prepare reports on product performance and provide actionable insights.

Visual Merchandising (for retail roles):

• Work with store teams to ensure effective in-store displays and presentation of jewellery collections.

E-commerce Merchandising :

• Upload and manage product listings online with appropriate descriptions, pricing, and imagery.
• Coordinate with digital marketing for promotions and campaigns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Jewellery Design, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the jewellery, fashion, or luxury goods industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel or ERP tools.
• Knowledge of jewellery materials, manufacturing processes, and design trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Eye for detail and aesthetics, especially for luxury product lines.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
