Merchandiser

1. Product development

To support Supervisor in development of new product ranges Ensure timely delivery of product ranges as per order To suggest potential vendors and their capacities

2. Production

Coordinate with Product team for necessary approvals Ensure timely and accurate issue of job work to vendors basis the PO Production Follow-up with vendors. Escalate any delays Ensuring timely availability of products for dispatch

3. Inventory Management

To create an effective fabric cutlength and shrinkage to avoid wastage and flag any issue To ensure final reconciliation of fabric and raw materials on completion of order Manage sample inventory through sample tracker.

4. Vendor Management

To support the supervisor in developing and sustaining existing vendors Allocation of work as per vendor expertise and capacity Monitor vendor efficiency through vendor visits and support in vendor assessment

5. Documentation, Reports & Analysis

Ensure that the files and records are regularly updated as per Fabindia protocols (Order files, IDF etc) Ensure that all trackers and reports are updated on a regular basis. Maintain and update spec sheets, accessory cards, fabric swatch cards post approval from PSC

6. Quality Control

Work closely with PH QC Team to ensure that the quality of the product is maintained and the final production starts post all QC checks

7. Costing

To support in negotiating and generating accurate costing for every product with support information. To collect competitor pricing

8. Stakeholder Relationship Management

Manage communication channels with PH team, PSC and vendors
