MEP Project Engineer

Project Engineer - MEP (Electrical core) Job Summary: The Project Engineer - MEP will play a crucial role in the successful execution and delivery of MEP projects. This position requires a deep understanding of MEP systems, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing project planning, design, execution, erection commissioning and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Project Planning: · Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements. · Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Design Coordination: · Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure that MEP systems meet project specifications and regulatory standards. · Review and approve design documents and drawings. Project Implementation: · Oversee the execution of MEP projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budget constraints. · Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any on-site issues. Quality Assurance: · Implement quality control measures to ensure that MEP systems meet industry standards and client expectations. · Conduct inspections and tests to verify compliance. Client Communication: · Serve as the main point of contact for clients during project implementation. · Communicate project updates, address concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction. Team Collaboration: · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery. · Foster a collaborative and positive working environment. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. · Proven experience as a Project Engineer with a focus on MEP systems. · Strong understanding of MEP design principles, codes, and regulations. · Project management certification is a plus. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
