MEP Estimation Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the estimation and design processes, contributing to the development of innovative engineering solutions. This position requires a strong mechanical knowledge base, proficiency in various engineering software, and the ability to analyse complex systems.

Duties

• Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Utilise Simulink and MATLAB for system modelling and simulation tasks.
• Design and implement control systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in design specifications.
• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks and CAD software.
• Develop schematics for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system design and integration efforts.
• Perform testing and validation of designs using LabVIEW to ensure functionality and reliability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in estimation engineering or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Proficiency in Simulink, MATLAB, SolidWorks, CAD, LabVIEW, and PLC programming.
• Familiarity with GD&T principles is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
