The ideal candidate will support the design team in producing accurate, high-quality construction and coordination drawings for various residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare and revise detailed 2D drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems using AutoCAD . Coordinate with design engineers to receive markups and convert design concepts into construction-ready drawings. Assist in clash detection drawings and coordinated MEP layouts for on-site execution. Develop as-built drawings , shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and riser diagrams. Maintain drawing logs, CAD files, and revision history in an organized manner. Ensure all drawings adhere to internal CAD standards and industry codes (IS/NBC). Support site teams by issuing updated and approved drawings in a timely manner. Collaborate with architects, civil teams, and other disciplines to ensure drawing consistency. Qualifications ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Drafting or related discipline. 2 - 6 years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman in a consultancy or contracting firm. Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) . Good understanding of MEP systems and standard symbols used in drafting. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Design Coordination: Coordinate with external design consultants for timely delivery of MEP drawings and inputs. Review and validate MEP design drawings for compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Support internal teams in securing timely approvals from clients, addressing feedback effectively. Ensure clear communication of design changes and project requirements to all stakeholders. Track design changes, validation feedback, and ensure closure as per client expectations and project timelines. 2. MEP Execution Support: Develop detailed MEP installation plans in collaboration with project execution teams. Monitor on-site execution of MEP works, ensuring alignment with approved designs, quality, safety, and schedule requirements. Address site issues related to MEP systems and support post-project handover and client servicing. 3. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain drawing logs and version control for all MEP-related documentation.
