Mep Bim Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD, REVIT MEP, and other relevant software.
• Create detailed designs for electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control panels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of design revisions, changes, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during construction phases to resolve any issues related to electrical installations.
• Develop detailed MEP models using industry-standard Cad & BIM software like Revit and Navisworks.
• Perform clash detection and resolution to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with architectural and structural elements.
• Create and manage construction drawings and documentation for MEP systems.
• Conduct QA/QC checks on models and drawings to ensure compliance with project standards and accuracy.
• Collaborate with architects, structure engineers, and shop team to address complex design and coordination challenges.
• Develop custom Revit families and templates for MEP components.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in MEP BIM workflows and technologies
• Implement and maintain company BIM standards and workflows for MEP projects.

Work Profile

Develop Revit, Auto Cad drawing for MEP system.

Material selection for MEP service

Preparation of Bill of material (Bom) based on drawing & Specification.

Should be capable to take out quantities using Revit, AutoCAD drawings, PDF Drawings.

Design calculations, equipment sizing / selection

Develop schematic and conceptual designs for electrical system support senior.

Proven team player with the ability to work effectively within a team.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Must have Tech knowledge of Electrical services/packages under MEP works.

Experience in the design of electrical systems .

Knowledge of codes and standards applicable to the design of electrical systems, including NBC,IS.

Ability to review and manipulate CAD models.
