Key Responsibilities

1. Doctor & Healthcare Professional Engagement

  • Visit doctors, dieticians, dermatologists, gynecologists, nutritionists, and wellness consultants on a daily basis to promote and detail the companys products.
  • Explain the scientific formulation, clinical benefits, usage guidelines, and differentiation of nutraceuticals, health supplements, and cosmetic products.
  • Build trust-based relationships with practitioners to drive consistent product prescriptions and endorsements.
  • Organize small group meetings, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and awareness sessions to educate healthcare professionals about product portfolio.

2. Territory Development & Market Expansion

  • Map the entire territory to identify new doctors, dieticians, nutrition clinics, gyms, wellness centers, and cosmetic dermatology practices for brand penetration.
  • Plan and execute structured daily/weekly coverage schedules to maximize touchpoints.
  • Continuously track competitor activities, product launches, and doctor preferences to provide market intelligence and ensure competitive positioning.
  • Support expansion into newer channels like health food stores, pharmacies, and modern retail counters within the assigned territory.

3. Sales Growth & Target Achievement

  • Drive prescription generation and convert it into tangible secondary sales through retail chemists, pharmacies, and quick commerce distribution partners.
  • Ensure adequate product availability at chemists and health supplement outlets in line with demand generated from doctors.
  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective coverage and conversion strategies.
  • Manage stockist/distributor relationships to ensure smooth supply chain and product flow within the territory.

4. Product Knowledge & Training

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of product formulations, scientific studies, dosage guidelines, and global nutraceutical trends.
  • Present detailed product training sessions to healthcare professionals and internal team members.
  • Collect feedback from doctors and customers to guide future product development and marketing campaigns.
  • Keep updated on new product launches within the company and competitor landscape to sharpen detailing strategies.

5. Marketing & Brand Building Activities

  • Support marketing campaigns at the ground level by executing product promotion drives in clinics, pharmacies, and wellness centers.
  • Distribute samples, promotional materials, and visual aids to healthcare professionals.
  • Gather testimonials, success stories, and feedback from practitioners that can be used for marketing purposes.
  • Participate in exhibitions, health camps, and wellness awareness events to represent the brand.

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate daily call reports, doctor coverage, prescriptions generated, and competitor activity in CRM or reporting formats.
  • Share weekly/monthly performance updates with reporting manager.
  • Coordinate with distributors, stockists, and supply chain team to ensure smooth product availability across touchpoints.
  • Provide on-ground feedback to management to refine sales strategy and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Graduate in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Nutrition / Biotechnology (preferred).
  • 4-8 years of experience as MR in

    Nutraceuticals, Pharma, Health Supplements, or Cosmetics

  • Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn may also apply.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
