"Sports for Change" initiative of HCL Foundation

Sports for Change is HCL Foundations flagship initiative that leverages sports as a tool for social inclusion and empowerment. The program identifies, trains, and nurtures young talent from disadvantaged communities, providing access to quality coaching, sports gear, and opportunities to compete at district, state, and national levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for injured athletes.
• Provide on-field support during training sessions and tournaments.
• Conduct regular fitness and posture assessments to prevent injuries.
• Educate athletes and coaches on warm-up, stretching, and recovery techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress reports.
• Collaborate with coaches and program coordinators to ensure holistic athlete development.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Certification in sports physiotherapy or related specialization (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sports or clinical physiotherapy.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with children and youth from diverse backgrounds.
