About the Role We are hiring a Medical Representative to drive brand availability, visibility, and primary/secondary sales through retail chemists and distributors. This position focuses exclusively on chemist engagement, product placement, stock management, and market execution. The ideal candidate should be proactive, persuasive, and well-connected with retail pharmacies. Key Responsibilities 1. Chemist Sales & Product Placement         Ensure consistent product availability at all key chemists in the territory.     Achieve monthly secondary sales targets through chemist orders.     Work with chemists to secure shelf space, product visibility, and recommendation support.         Promote schemes, offers, and incentive plans effectively. 2. Distributor Coordination ·        Maintain smooth coordination with stockists/distributors for product supply. ·        Track daily stock levels, pending orders, and ensure timely dispatch. ·        Resolve billing or supply issues faced by chemists.   3. Market Expansion & Coverage ·        Increase coverage by onboarding new chemists in the territory. ·        Identify high-potential retail areas and expand product penetration. ·        Conduct regular beat planning for complete market coverage. 4. Scheme Implementation & Merchandising ·        Launch and implement monthly trade activities. ·        Place merchandising. ·        Enhance retail visibility with effective branding activities. 5. Relationship Building ·        Build strong long-term relations with pharmacists, retail managers, and purchasing staff. ·        Convince chemists to recommend the products to walk-in customers. ·        Gain insights from chemists regarding product feedback, demand patterns, and customer preferences. 6. Market Intelligence ·        Track competitor activities, schemes, prices, and new launches. ·        Provide timely input to management about market trends. ·        Identify challenges in trade channels and propose solutions. 7.Reporting & Documentation ·        Maintain daily sales reports, beat plans, stock statements, review data, and secondary sales data. ·        Share weekly and monthly performance updates with management. ·        Attend meetings and provide data in the requisite reporting formats. · Key Skills Required ·        Strong persuasion and negotiation skills. ·        Good understanding of pharmacy trade and FMCG/pharma retail. ·        Territory knowledge and strong chemist network. ·        Ability to plan routes and manage beat effectively. ·        Target-driven and comfortable with fieldwork. ·        Conflict-handling ability with chemists or stockists. · Eligibility Criteria ·        Education: Any Graduate (Science background preferred but not mandatory). Experience:    1–6 years as MR in Pharma (doctor or chemist handling).    Experience with retailers and distributors is essential.    Good communication skills and science knowledge.    Two-wheeler and valid driving license required. ·
