Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and persuasive Sales Representative who has a background or interest in medical devices / patient care / allied health fields. This person will serve as the bridge between patients and products, guiding patients through their needs, explaining solutions, and closing sales while ensuring quality service and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet, counsel, and guide patients who come to the clinic or inquire about products (prosthetic limbs, orthotics, diabetic foot care, etc.).
  • Understand patients’ medical history, physical condition, and needs; recommend appropriate product(s) or device(s) accordingly.
  • Demonstrate product features, usage, care, and maintenance to patients (and caregivers) clearly and compassionately.
  • Provide accurate product pricing, explain warranties, follow-up support, and any post-sale services.
  • Work closely with prosthetists, orthotists, physiotherapists, and other clinical staff to ensure patient’s solution fits properly and meets expectations.
  • Maintain and build relationships with referral sources — hospitals, doctors, physiotherapy centers, rehabilitation centers, NGOs.
  • Follow up with patients after initial fitting to ensure satisfaction, collect feedback, address any concerns, and upsell or recommend adjustments when needed.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth, while balancing medical ethics and patient well-being.
  • Maintain records of patient interactions, sales data, stock/product inventory, and follow proper documentation.
  • Assist in organising promotional events, demo sessions, product exhibitions, awareness camps, etc.
  • Stay updated about new products, medical advancements in prosthetics & orthotics, regulatory standards, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Prior experience in medical device sales / rehabilitation products / orthotics & prosthetics / allied health / healthcare customer service preferred.
  • Good communication skills — able to explain technical / medical concepts simply and empathetically.
  • Strong sales skills: persuasion, negotiation, closing, follow-up.
  • Basic understanding of human anatomy, mechanics of prosthetics/orthotics, patient needs is a plus.
  • Empathy, patience, listening skills and a caring attitude toward patients with disabilities.
  • Ability to travel (if required) between clinics, hospitals, or for outreach camps.
  • Good record-keeping and organisational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
