Position Overview

Medical Representative

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Promotion

    :
    • Promote the companys medical gloves to doctors, surgeons, healthcare professionals, and purchasing departments in hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

2.Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, procurement managers, and medical staff.
    • Regularly follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and explore cross-selling opportunities.

3.Market Development

    • Identify new business opportunities in the assigned territory and expand the client base.
    • Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and pricing strategies.

4.Training and Education

    • Educate healthcare professionals about the proper use, safety, and benefits of the gloves.
    • Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and exhibitions to promote products.

5.Sales Targets and Reporting

    • Achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned region.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market feedback, and forecasts to the management.

6.Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards in all sales and promotional activities.
    • Maintain ethical practices in interactions with clients and ensure accurate representation of the products.

Qualifications

  • Education

    : Bachelors degree in life sciences, healthcare, pharmacy, or a related field. MBA in marketing is a plus.
  • Experience

    : 3 - 7 years of experience in medical sales, preferably in gloves, PPE, or related healthcare products.
  • Technical Knowledge

    :
    • Understanding of medical gloves, including latex, nitrile, and surgical variants.
    • Familiarity with hospital purchasing procedures and medical supply chains.

Key Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Persuasive sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market feedback.

Work Environment

  • Frequent travel within the assigned territory.
  • Interaction with healthcare professionals in clinical and hospital settings.
