Job Title: Planner & Buyer Executive – Outdoor Advertising Agency

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Planner & Buyer Executive to join our advertising agency team. The role involves media planning, buying, and execution across traditional and digital platforms to deliver effective campaigns for our clients. You will be responsible for negotiating with media vendors, optimizing budgets, analyzing performance, and ensuring maximum ROI on client investments.


Key Responsibilities:

Media Planning:

  • Develop media strategies aligned with client objectives, target audience, and campaign goals.

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to identify the most effective media mix.

  • Create detailed media plans with budget allocations across TV, print, radio, outdoor, digital, and emerging platforms.

Media Buying:

  • Negotiate rates, placements, and packages with media vendors to maximize value.

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely release of advertisements.

  • Oversee the booking process and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

Campaign Execution & Monitoring:

  • Coordinate with creative and client servicing teams to ensure smooth campaign rollouts.

  • Track, monitor, and analyze campaign performance against KPIs.

  • Suggest optimizations and corrective measures during campaign execution.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare post-campaign reports with insights, performance metrics, and ROI analysis.

  • Provide recommendations for future campaigns based on data and trends.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to deliver campaigns successfully.

  • Stay updated with the latest media trends, advertising technologies, and consumer behavior patterns.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in media planning and buying (agency experience preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of traditional and digital media platforms.

  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and media planning tools.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
