About the Role
We are looking for freshers and early-career professionals (0–2 years) in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering to join our Quality Assurance and Quality Control team. This role provides exposure to product quality management across the entire lifecycle—covering raw material inspection, vendor audits, in-process quality checks, final inspection, and compliance with international standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party inspectors to ensure Credence actuators meet stringent quality and certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support quality control of incoming materials, castings, machined parts, and assemblies.
Assist in preparing and maintaining inspection reports, traceability records, and quality documentation.
Participate in in-process inspection and pre-dispatch inspection (PDI) of actuators.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and third-party inspection (TPI) agencies for quality compliance.
Assist in vendor quality audits, capability assessment, and supplier development activities.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, PED, ATEX, API, and EN standards relevant to actuators and valves.
Support in maintaining identification and traceability of materials and components.
Assist in preparing Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and final project dossiers.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective & preventive action (CAPA) for non-conformances.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) with customers and TPI representatives.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering from a reputed institute.
Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance are welcome to apply.
Required Skills & Knowledge
If you have prior knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Actuators, it will be an added advantage.
Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 processes and quality systems.
Awareness of casting inspection, machining tolerances, and surface treatment processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
Knowledge of quality measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment.
Good communication skills for working with vendors, suppliers, and inspectors.
Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and quality reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of MS Project is a plus.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team.
